Edmar Pineda (b.1993, Angeles City, Philippines) is a Filipino photographer, multimedia artist, youth educator, psychometrician, and a former seafarer.
He is interested in covering stories that intersect between children’s identity, labor migration, gender dynamics, and indigenous psychology. He uses his lens as a tool to challenge common misconceptions about the human experience and enrich his understanding of the world, and each other. His decade-long experience as an outdoor enthusiast has also shaped him to advocate for community-based conservation.
He is currently a freelance photographer for UNICEF Philippines and an Up Next Photographer for Diversify Photo.
